Futurebuild and UK Construction Week London Unite in 2026
Futurebuild and UK Construction Week London will be co-located for the first time in May 2026, creating what organisers describe as the UK’s largest national event for the built environment.
The three-day exhibition will run from 12–14 May at ExCeL London, bringing together around 25,000 industry professionals, more than 600 exhibitors and 700 speakers across 10 dedicated stages.
Two leading events, one connected platform
The three-day exhibition will run from 12–14 May at ExCeL London. Although sharing a venue, both exhibitions will retain their distinct identities and specialist programmes.
“This is about creating one connected platform that reflects how the industry actually works – from vision to specification to delivery.”
Futurebuild will continue its focus on sustainability, net zero and innovation, offering CPD-accredited sessions for architects, designers, developers and local authorities. Its programme will again feature the National Retrofit Conference, addressing the challenges of large-scale retrofit across the UK housing stock.
UK Construction Week London will maintain its emphasis on practical delivery and on-site solutions, targeting contractors, housebuilders, engineers and trades. Visitors can expect live demonstrations, product showcases and CPD content reflecting real-world construction demands.
Stone & Surfaces Show strengthens materials focus
The Stone & Surfaces Show will also take place at ExCeL alongside the two headline events, bringing a dedicated focus on natural stone, surface finishes and materials.
Organisers say its inclusion will strengthen the event’s materials and interiors offer while encouraging closer collaboration between design, specification and installation professionals.
Responding to a changing construction landscape
The move reflects growing pressures on the construction sector to decarbonise, modernise skills and meet net zero targets.
Martin Hurn, Event Director of Futurebuild, said: “This is about creating one connected platform that reflects how the industry actually works – from vision to specification to delivery.”
Sam Patel, Divisional Director of UK Construction Week London, added: “Collaborating with Futurebuild and The Stone & Surfaces Show unlocks new depth and strategic value, creating a destination that is richer, more relevant and more valuable to every part of the built environment.”
A national hub for innovation and delivery
Organisers say the co-location will create a stronger commercial and strategic platform by bringing together:
- Specifiers and sustainability leaders
- Contractors and delivery partners
- Materials and systems suppliers
- Digital and offsite construction specialists
The combined event will cover key industry priorities including retrofit, HVAC, circular materials, modern methods of construction, digital tools and building finishes — positioning it as a single national destination that spans concept, design, materials and on-site delivery.
